Fresh from Kruder & Dorfmeister approval from stepping in at We Out Here Festival…

As Stage Manager, he bends and blends genres from a sonic palette of trip hop, garage, breakbeat and house, showcasing a deep love for lower-end sub-bass frequencies.

Soundtracking atmospheric drops with liberating contrasts, time stretches a selection of tempos and rhythms from dub reggae all the way up to jungle drum & bass.

A former manager of Fabric, Village Underground and The Cause, he is already a familiar face on the UK and European festival circuit, Stage Manager has enjoyed exclusive access to some of the world’s very best record collections.

Laurent Garnier            “The best stage manager in the business”

Voigtmann                    “My favourite stage manager”

Kruder & Dorfmeister     “Amazing stage manager who stepped in and played a killer set…what a hero”

Stage Manager                    “I’ve got more vibes than Ann Summers!”

Stage Manager signals a return to the almost forgotten art of DJing, where the selector selects the right records for the crowd response, creating another dimension with the way the tracks are programmed to perfectly overlap.

In his own words…

It’s all very well having this obsession with producing new music, and I do understand that the DJ must be a producer to ‘qualify’ as a modern-day DJ, but what I’ve found is that this school of thought leads to a very one-dimensional sounding set, as well as creating closed circles of producers all pushing their own sound and agendas.  I find this often comes at the expense of the dancers on the dance floor – who just want to dance to the highest energy.

My style comes directly from the dance floor. It comes from years spent dancing, studying and collecting music. When I’m not working backstage or playing the music, you’ll find me by the speakers in my natural habitat.

Freerotation, Houghton, We Out Here, and Dimensions are my non-negotiables. They have become spiritual homes.  These are my people”

Some people call me a connoisseur, but after 30 years of living and breathing the evolution of electronic music, I’m confident that what I am presenting is a notable contribution to the scene.  It is a love letter to club culture.

I just want to share the music that I’ve been collecting, storing and sitting on for far too long.  Now is the time to let the people make up their own minds on the dance floor.
